The 2008 reunion will be held at the beautiful Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center in
Nashville, Tennessee.  I encourage you to visit their website at www.gaylordopryland.com

The hotel is on a large complex along the Cumberland River that includes the Grand Ole Opry, Opry
Mills Mall, and the General Jackson river boat.  For those interested in Golf the Gaylord Springs Golf
Course is a short shuttle bus ride or drive down the street.  The hotel features 10 Restaurants, 7
lounges, and a new nightclub.  The hotel also has many shops and snack places like Haagen-Dazs Ice
Cream, Christie Cookies, and a Godiva Chocolate shop.

Reservations:
To make your reservations call:  1-866-972-6779 or 615-883-2211 and identify yourself as with the
368th Fighter Group Reunion.  The deadline for reservations is Tuesday, August 26th to receive the
discounted rate of $155.00 per night.  Please make your reservations as soon as possible.

Transportation:
There is a complimentary shuttle to all attractions on the Opryland complex.  The hotel shuttle to and
from the airport runs from 5:00am until 11:00pm and costs $35.00 round trip per person.  A cab will
cost you approximately $25.00 each way.

Here is the plan for our reunion:
All of our reserved guest rooms are in the same area of the hotel and near the Hospitality Suite.
Our Hospitality Suite is a large business / meeting room type suite with a wet bar area, refrigerator,
sitting areas, tables, and large LCD TV.

A detailed itinerary will be in your registration material upon arrival.

Thursday 09/25/08:
The Hospitality Suite will open at 11:00am for check in and registration.
We will have sandwiches, hors d’oeuvres, fruit, snacks, and drinks available.

Friday 09/26/08:  There is so much to do in Nashville and not everyone wants to do the same thing.
I do not want you to pay for a set excursion that you may not enjoy.  The hotel has transportation and
tickets available for many different options and can help you plan your excursion.  Some options
include:

Downtown Nashville – Country Music Hall of Fame, Ryman Auditorium, Shopping.
Golf at Gaylord Spring Golf Course
       Shopping at Opry Mills
The Hermitage – Home of President Andrew Jackson
       Near Downtown - The Parthenon

The only scheduled event is the Grand Ole Opry show on Friday evening at 8:00pm.  If you have
never been to the Opry it is a wonderful experience.  Every show if different and you never know
which stars are going to show up for the performance.   The Hospitality Suite will be open all day.

Saturday 09/27/08:  At 11:00 we will begin boarding the General Jackson Showboat for a three
hour mid-day cruise with show and lunch.  The General Jackson is a very large paddlewheel river
boat; the show will feature the famous Peking Acrobats.  Lunch is served prior to the show with a
choice of entrees and salads.  After the show you will have the opportunity to step outside on deck
and enjoy the view.  There are adult beverages available for purchase during the cruise.

At 5:00pm our banquet festivities will begin starting with a reception and cash bar outside the banquet
area.    At 6:00pm we will enter our beautifully decorated banquet area where the 118th AW Honor
Guard will present the Colors.   We will have a 4 course Tennessee Country Buffet featuring a fine
selection soups, salads, entrees, and desserts.  During our banquet we will have a guest speaker (still
working on this) and Big Band music.

Sunday 09/28/08:  At 8:00am we will have our farewell Breakfast at the Water’s Edge Marketplace
in the Delta Atrium of the hotel.  We have a reserved area for seating.

For those you wish to stay through Sunday we will plan something fun (to be determined based on
number staying).
